JH Football Equipment will be handed out on Thursday, August 12th in Waubay at 4:00pm.
The Waubay and Summit Booster Clubs are gearing up for the upcoming school year and gathering donations for the ‘21-‘22 athletic programs! Letters have been sent out to past sponsors. For new sponsors, there are a variety of ad sizes available for varying donation amounts or if you don’t have a business and still want to support the student athletes, you can become a Booster Backer and have your name listed in the program for $50. Money can be given to either the Waubay Booster Club or Summit Booster Club.
Please have the ad information in by Monday, August 9th. Any questions can be directed to Jen Aker or Deb Rumpza in Waubay or Lisa Amdahl in Summit.

Varsity Football Practice starts today! The bus will leave Waubay at 3:10pm.

Volleyball practice will be from 9:30-11:30 on the 12th and 13th in Summit
Varsity Football Practice starts August 5th in Wilmot. The bus will be leaving the school at 3:10pm on the 5th and the 6th, practice is from 4-7pm.
To all students registered for Drivers Ed, class time begins Monday, August 2 from 8:00 am -5:00 pm at Summit. Each student gets a lunch break at 12:00 and must be back in the classroom by 12:40. No food will be provided. The class is full, all seats have been filled.

Any student in grades 7-12 that plans on participating in fall sports Football, Volleyball or Cross Country must have all athletic paperwork, concussion testing and a current physical on file before they can practice. Varsity and JV Football practice starts August 5th, JH Football practice starts August 16th. Volleyball practice starts August 12th. Concussion testing for the Mustangs will be held at Waubay School on Wednesday, July 28 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Any student in grades 7, 8, 9 and 11 who will be participating in athletics, any new student, and any student who has previously been diagnosed with a concussion must take the concussion test. Football Cheer Tryouts: Practice night for tryouts will be Thursday, July 22nd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in Summit. TRYOUTS will be held in Summit on Monday, July 26th with a short practice starting at 5:30pm and tryouts starting at 6pm. Tryouts are open to any student in grades 8-12 in Waubay, Summit & Wilmot.
