Tonight's doubleheader in Ipswich has been re-scheduled. The games will be played on Saturday, January 24 starting at 11:00 AM.

There will be NO school in Waubay today due to the high winds and poor visibility. Also just a reminder that there is no school on Monday.

ATTENTION: All band members need to be in the gym and ready to play by 3:00pm today for the basketball games.

The double header basketball game for today will start at 1:00 pm with the girls JV. The C team game at noon has been cancelled. Another reminder to those who are supposed to work the after prom concession stand. Please send the attached picture.

Tomorrow will be a normal start time, and we will have an early release at 12:30. Grades k-8 will run a normal schedule. Students in grades 9-12 will be doing selected semester tests. Please visit the school's website to see the schedule. Students in grades 9-12 do not need to report to school until their first test and will be allowed to leave when they are finished. Attendance is mandatory for anyone testing. There will not be a make-up testing date. All assignments that are not completed will become zeros unless prior arrangements have been made with the teachers.

There will be NO school today in Waubay due to a blizzard warning being in effect and the high winds.

This message is to inform you that the Waubay School District will have an early out on Friday, December 19th. School will be dismissed at 12:30. That is the plan as of today. With the chance of bad weather tomorrow the early dismissal could change. Please plan for an early dismissal for now. If the weather impacts tomorrow or Friday, we will let you know.

The Waubay School elementary and middle school/ high school Christmas concerts will be held tomorrow, December 11th. The elementary portion will begin at 6:00. Students are asked to be in their classrooms by 5:45. 6th grade band students should be here by 5:40 to get their instruments out. 7th-12th grade band and music students should be at the school by 7:00. They should report to the band room. There will be a short break between the two concerts.

Waubay School District will have a 10:00 start tomorrow.
