There will be a meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd at 9:30 AM at Waubay School for students who are planning to go out for football this year. This is for students who will be in grades 9-12. The purpose of this meeting is to meet the new head coach and understand what will be expected of you over the summer to prepare for the football season. This is a new date and time.

All students in grades 7–12 must have a current yearly physical on file to participate in any athletic activities.

Reminder: Students in grade 4-6 will be attending the ECC track meet tomorrow, May 7th in Rosholt. We will leave school at 8:30 am. If your child is riding the bus back from the meet, please be at the school between 5:30-6 pm to pick them up. Dress warm for tomorrow!

Theater 605 and Waubay Elementary School presents: Space Pirates Performances will be on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM in the Waubay School Gym. Free Will Donation will be taken at the door! Please come and support our young actors and actresses. Due to this event, the gym will be off limits for community use tonight and tomorrow. BASKETBALL: The boys and girls basketball teams (C Team, JV, Varsity) will have their end of season get together on May 6th at 7:00 at Legends in Watertown. The athletes will have a meal, get awards and join in some fun activities. If athletes need a ride, they should let the coaches know and transportation will be provided.
