🏈 Junior High Football 🏈 Attention Junior High Football players and families! 📅 Thursday, August 6 Junior High players will join the Varsity football practice beginning at 5:30 PM in Waubay. 📣 Fall Sports Meeting & Concussion Testing

We look forward to kicking off the fall season with our student-athletes and families!

📅 Date & Time: Monday, August 3 at 6:00 PM
📍 Location: Summit School Gym

During the meeting, student-athletes will complete their Sway Medical concussion baseline testing.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to attend. Please note that student-athletes will need parent/guardian approval in the Sway Medical app before they are able to complete testing.

✅ Before the meeting: Please download the Sway Medical app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

All 7-12 students who plan to participate in athletics this school year are required to take a concussion test before they are allowed to attend practice.

If you participated in track this past school year, you are invited to attended the Mustang Track Awards event to be held in Summit at 5:30 PM on August 3rd. If you still have a track uniform, please bring it with you to this event. Hope to see you all on August 3rd.

The start of the school year is right around the corner. Waubay School District will be holding registration days in August. This is the time to come get schedules and turn in required paperwork prior to the beginning of the school year. Please see the attached flyer.

📢 Concussion Testing Update The concussion testing sessions previously scheduled for July 24 and July 27 have been postponed. A new testing schedule will be announced soon. Any 7-12 grade student who wishes to participate in an athletic program for the 2026-2027 school year must have a concussion baseline test conducted prior to practice. This summer we are doing this testing on Friday, July 24 from 8:00 AM until noon and on Monday, July 27 from 1:00-4:00 PM in Kari Berger's classroom.
