Waubay School District 18-3

Tomorrow will be a normal start time, and we will have an early release at 12:30. Grades k-8 will run a normal schedule. Students in grades 9-12 will be doing selected semester tests. Please visit the school's website to see the schedule. Students in grades 9-12 do not need to report to school until their first test and will be allowed to leave when they are finished. Attendance is mandatory for anyone testing. There will not be a make-up testing date. All assignments that are not completed will become zeros unless prior arrangements have been made with the teachers.

There will be NO school today in Waubay due to a blizzard warning being in effect and the high winds.

This message is to inform you that the Waubay School District will have an early out on Friday, December 19th. School will be dismissed at 12:30. That is the plan as of today. With the chance of bad weather tomorrow the early dismissal could change. Please plan for an early dismissal for now. If the weather impacts tomorrow or Friday, we will let you know.

The Waubay School elementary and middle school/ high school Christmas concerts will be held tomorrow, December 11th. The elementary portion will begin at 6:00. Students are asked to be in their classrooms by 5:45. 6th grade band students should be here by 5:40 to get their instruments out. 7th-12th grade band and music students should be at the school by 7:00. They should report to the band room. There will be a short break between the two concerts.

We’ll now host a doubleheader in Waubay on Dec. 16th starting at 4 PM.

The JH Girls Basketball game vs. Langford Area, scheduled for today 12/8, has been canceled.

The Elementary Christmas Concert that was scheduled for tonight has been moved to Thursday, December 11th starting at 6:00 PM. We will have two concerts that night. The elementary concert will be first followed by the middle school and high school concert. The Elementary Book Fair with Whimsy on Main has been postponed to a later date.
